This column is at Alnwick, which has an impressive second-hand book shop, except for the lack of medieval history books. The column was erected in honour of some big landlord who wasn't a total bastard, or at least that's what the inscription says. Someone had thrown a bunch of dead rabbits over the fence, which were lying about on the steps in varying states of decomposition. Weird.The rest of the photos are of the coastal castle of Dunstanburgh, which is pretty damn impressive, so the pictures can speak for themselves.
